Post Christmas Haul
Dec. 27th, 2003 05:18 pmBenjamin is eight months old, and I was the only one who got him toys for Christmas. I got a bathtub ark with animal chew toys (he's started teething), some stackable toy cars, and a stuffed moose. (He won't appreciate the moose for a year or two.) No one else got him any toys, and he only has a couple already. (His mother grew up in Thailand, and doesn't know the available American toys.) So Pen and I went to Toys R Us today, and I rectified Benjamin's Christmas haul. Now he has a fire engine that he can ride on and push with his legs, a push toy that also has lots of spinning noisy things on it to play with, wooden alphabet blocks, the blocks that come in three shapes and have a box with three shapes in the lid to push the blocks through, the plastic blocks that you can stick together in a chain, a Little People school bus, some Little People animals, a wooden toolbench with wooden pegs and a hammer, and a big bag of some giant Lego-like blocks. And I am the best big sister in the world. :-)
