A weekend at home

After spending the last five weekends away from home, I took advantage of being here to do some cleaning around the house. Yesterday I got large piles of stuff out of my garage and I clipped back the hedges in my front walkway. It looks like a ten-year-old clipped them, but at least they're not sticking out into the sidewalk or my neighbor's hard. Today I went grocery shopping and set fruit fly traps around the house. None of this may sound like much, unless you saw before and after pictures.

Last night acanthusleaf and I went to see Mamma Mia!, her for the first time, me for the fourth if you count the stage version. It was perfect (again), silly and fun and cheerful. Pierce Brosnan still can't sing, but his attempt was still heartfelt.
