Doing my part to help jump-start the economy

With both godsons having birthdays in a couple of weeks, I set out shopping today. Of course, things that the godsons would like are also things I would like, too, so I sometimes got two. Or three. And then there are things that the goddaughters would like. And Christmas is coming, so it never hurts to shops early. And that purple jacket is perfect.

Sigh.

I must confess to failure. 3 hours in the mall, armed with coupons ranging from 20% to 40% off for various department and women's specialty stores. I needed to replace a plain white long-sleeved top which I accidentally spilled something Chinese on last night during supper.

Did any of the stores in the mall have a white long-sleeved cotton knit top with a plain round neck, not of tissue-thin fabric, and in the right size? Of course not! Grrrrr.
