Dymphna laid an egg!

I got home from WonderCon to find that Dymphna had laid an egg in the pile of dirt I left out for her. The dirt didn't cover the egg entirely, but it looked OK, and G'Kwan hadn't eaten it. Anne helped me put more dirt over it, but now we can't find Dymphna.

Awww, congrats. Are her eggs actually fertile? Have you ever hatched baby turtles? And yet once again I'll ask, how in the world can a turtle that size manage to hide?

This is the first time (out of three) that I don't think the egg died almost immediately due to my incompetence as a turtle mom. As to how she can hide, she's fairly dark, so she just needs to tuck into a shadow and she's nearly invisible.
