More signs of the 21st century
Oct. 21st, 2005 08:02 pmI got an iPod a few months ago, and love it. I listen to it (almost) daily, whereas before most of my music came from the car radio going to and from work. I have a CD player at home, but I rarely listen to it, since it plays (obviously) an entire CD at a time, and that's not necessarily what I want. So today I bought a speaker for my iPod, and will be getting rid of the CD player, and storing the CDs. It's all computers now.
I was in Dick Clark's restaurant in the Salt Lake City airport a few years back, and hanging on the walls are a bunch of platinum record plaques, with the LP in a frame with the award. A little boy at the next table earnestly asked his father what the big round things are. I think in a few years little boys may not recognize CD's, either.
