Mark Budz is the author of CLADE (2003), CRACHE (2004), and IDOLON (2006).
CLADE was a finalist for the Philip K. Dick award and won a Norton Award
"In Recognition of Extraordinary Creativity and Invention Unhindered by the Constraints of Paltry Reason."
His short fiction has appeared in Amazing Stories, Fantasy & Science Fiction, and elsewhere.
He is currently at work on a fourth novel, forthcoming from Bantam Spectra.
He lives with his wife, author Marina Fitch, in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Tim Pratt's stories have appeared in The Best American Short Stories,
The Year's Best Fantasy, and other nice places. His first novel,
THE STRANGE ADVENTURES OF RANGERGIRL,
was published in late 2005. His new collection, HART & BOOT & Other Stories,
is coming from Night Shade Books in January 2007, and his next novel,
BLOOD ENGINES, will be published by Bantam in Fall 2007.
He lives in Oakland with his wife, writer Heather Shaw.
