An expensive trip to the library
Apr. 24th, 2007 02:20 pmI culled a bunch of books that I will never read again (or in some cases read for the first time, since my tastes have changed since I bought the books), filled two shopping bags with them, and set off to the library to donate them. As my car left my driveway I felt a "pop" from the back tire. Sure enough, it had run over something and started to go flat, so I went straight to the tire store.
At the tire store, the good news was that I had bought the extended warranty, so the repair would be free. The bad news was that the front tires were so badly worn on the inside that they were ready to go soon, so I bought two new tires to replace them.
I like not working, but an income would be nice.
