This month for SF in SF (http://www.sfinsf.org), our guests will be Howard Hendrix, who set off the initial flurry about "scabs" posting fiction for free on the Internet, and Scott Sigler, one of the bloggers who disagreed rather strongly with him, given that Sigler had self-published his first few novels as serial podcasts, and garnered enough attention for himself this way to gain a publishing contract with a major house.

The event will begin with both guests reading their fiction, followed by a debate on the topic of Internet publishing, moderated by Terry Bisson.

Cory Doctorow, one of the major proponents of overhauling the current copyright system, has this to say about the upcoming debate: http://www.boingboing.net/2007/08/16/pixelstained-technop.html.
