Lots of geeky goodness

I ran away from home this weekend, and came down to Los Angeles for a comic book convention. I usually do this sort of thing with friends, but I've been doing a couple of long weekends lately just to get out of town by myself and clear my head.

Right now I'm back in my hotel room, feeling inspired and rested and pleased with my weekend, and tomorrow I'll drive back home. Next week should be pretty busy at work, since my group is having a two-day summit. The good news there is that my boss hired someone to take my old job, and it's my aikido buddy Dave. It will be great to work with him again.
