The consuming passion
Mar. 13th, 2009 08:57 pmAfter a day of eating worms (I've been feeling under-appreciated at work), I came home to find a birthday coupon from Coldwater Creek in my mail. I hied me to the mall, where, combining the coupon with the remainder of a Christmas gift card, I bought myself two tops. After a great shopping expedition with
aberwyn about a year ago I began buying jackets for work. Not boring blazers, but the fashionable kind that look good on women. I now have quite the collection, and a much better work wardrobe. Tonight's shopping brought me more things to wear under the jackets.
I also stopped by Barnes and Noble, where I used another coupon to get Christopher Moore's newest, Fool, for 35% off. I also gleefully snatched the second-to-last copy of Kari Sperring's Living With Ghosts from what had been a rather large "new books" stack. I know it's going to be good, because I read part of it at Milford two years ago.
Now I'm going to play with my new toys.
