After driving around in San Mateo for almost an hour looking for parking for Maker Faire I gave up and parked at the Hillsdale Mall, which turned out to be a great place to park. Wish I'd figured it out a lot sooner. Chaz thanked me for showing him around the back streets of San Mateo, but I somehow think he wasn't serious. Maker Faire was fun. It was good to see friends, and the St. Claire group had a nice steampunk site set up. We had a good time.
