(no subject)

We didn't have anything big scheduled for this weekend, and I have a story due in a couple of weeks, so that's what I've been been stressing aboutbeen focusing on. I'm rewriting a story I took to Milford last time, updating it and fixing some things that didn't work. It should be done on time.

Today I slept very late, finally catching up on some lost sleep. *looks at the boys, crossly* Then I dropped desperance at a Chinese grocery store, list in hand, while I went off to the nearby Duke of Edinburgh pub to read and eat lunch. (No alcohol for me, as I was driving.) A beaming Chaz showed up with a couple of heavy bags and a big smile, so home we went. It's been a nice, easy weekend, with some writing in it, and now I hear thumpings and smell nice odors all coming from the direction of the kitchen and I poke at my story. All's right with the world.
