james_nicoll reviews Liz Williams's (mevennen's) "Banner of Souls" today here. I like Liz Williams's books, as they have a very eldritch horror layer over hard science fiction, so they appeal to me on multiple levels. She also has finished another Inspector Chen novel, that should be out electronically soon, too (though not soon enough).
