Catching up

Like Ben in Dead of Light, when I'm in sunlight I feel uplifted, happy, and powerful (though my family is much nicer than Ben's). This morning, no sun, just overcast gray. Still, I'd had an awful lot of sleep (I may finally be getting over the combination of jet lag and bad cold), so I crawled out of bed and walked down to the farmer's market. By the time I got back home, laden with peaches, Asian pears, Chinese green beans, French bread (note that this is a local market :-)), and having eaten roasted corn on the cob while there, the sun had come out and all was good. I'm just beginning to get caught up on my to do list from my trip, including downloading photos from my camera. Here are a couple as warmups:



Barry fell in love with my suitcase, and spent nights and a lot of the days lying on it.



And this is the gorgeous Mac, who assured me that he is not evil at all, and merely flings himself forward to protect Chaz from harm, making sure that all that food isn't poisonous, oh, no, he'll personally make sure of it.
