Snow in Sunnyvale

Tonight I saw snow falling in Sunnyvale.

But it is Sunnyvale, and that means that my friend and I were wearing T-shirts, and the snow came out of a machine if you put a quarter in it. Still, it was pretty.

You're in Sunnyvale? *I'm* in Sunnyvale! As of about 4 pm this afternoon, after a four-day auto trek across the country.

Coming from Omaha, I am seriously hoping you did not see *natural* snow here. I'd have to go jump off a cliff...

Don't worry. It can snow on the mountains, and every now and then (once or maybe twice in the last twenty years) it snows in San Francisco for about five minutes, but while it will frost here, don't expect natural snow.

I'll have you know that my school was closed for the day due to snow in Cupertino when I was in 8th grade!
