Chaz had wanted to see the Difference Engine, so today he and I went over to the Computer History Museum. (When we got there and were about to pay, Chris Garcia came bounding out of a room behind the counter and said, "These are on me!" So we got in for free. I didn't know he was a curator there.) I last went to the CHM a couple of years ago, to see, yes, the Difference Engine. The museum has been updated, and is now filled with great exhibits. I really enjoyed myself.
We did get to see the Difference Engine, though it broke after about four turns of the crank. Still, it's very cool. I took a picture of Chaz in front of the engine, though the lighting wasn't that great.

Right after that, we started walking away, then he pulled me back behind the Difference Engine and said, "This is the geekiest place I know. Will you marry me?"
Of course I said "yes". How could I not?
