UPS for the lose

I'm waiting at home on my first Saturday back from Europe, instead of going to the farmer's market, the grocery store, the post office, the bank, or the pharmacy. At this point, the post office is closed, so I can't my packages until next week. The farmer's market is mostly packed up, so that's a loss, too. Why am I sitting here waiting? Because my next month's worth of drugs is supposed to be delivered by UPS today. They're shipped in a container to keep them cool, since they need to be refrigerated. The previous two times I got boxes of drugs they came via Fedex, who had them at my house by 10:00. Not UPS. No sign of them. Sigh.

If you mean United Parcel, they don't do Saturday deliveries. Is there someone at the doctor's you can call about this if so?

If it hasn't been refrigerated, you may need a reorder. Some dummy didn't do their homework on delivery service! If you are out, I wonder if you could get a weekend's worth of dosage from the local hospital. I was able to get some meds when I ran out of an RX in MA once.

That's who I mean. They finally showed up. My insurance won't ship these kind of drugs unless the shipper says they'll deliver that day and I say there will be someone to receive it. It's just Fedex delivers refrigerated things much earlier.

I'm glad you've got it in your hot little -- I mean cool little -- hands. :-)

For years UPS didn't do Saturdays at all. Now they do them badly, I guess.
