While I have not quite trimmed back All The Plants, I did cut back the thorn bushes by the front door, trimmed the plants in the planter in the driveway, and trimmed some of the plants taking over the turtle run. (Those last may need to come out entirely. I'm not sure what they are, though, so I'll need to check before I do more with them.) But I am hot, and tired, and the front path is clear.

Good work! Time to sit down, put your feet up, and have a nice glass of wine.

Hurrah! You are inspiring me to do the same for my backyard.

There's nothing like whacking away at foliage for a sense of accomplishment.

Today I repotted a couple of plants. And noticed my Emily Carr rose is overwhelming the planter at the front of the house to the point that someday the brick wall will fall. BIG rose bush. But I'm going to cut it back in February -- I need that wall!

Congratulations on the horticulture achievements.
