An idea. Again.

I've asked my neurologist what he would need to know in order to prescribe the chemo treatment for me here, rather than waiting for the Sheffield Teaching Hospital to get back to me. He'll probably say that he won't/can't do it, for FDA reasons.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I don't suppose Canada has such a program? (Asking only cause it's closer... but once you uproot yourself, I suppose nothing is close/far... And there's that Chaz thing.)

I've poked at Canada. They were part of the same research project (as were we), but I don't think they've offered the result as a cure yet. I think England has a lot of RR MS patients ahead of me, is all.

Well, maybe so, but... You're KAREN. The Consort of Chaz. Surely that moves you up the queue a little? (Never mind. I'll go away now. But if I had anything to do with it...)

I'm pretty sure the only reason I got on the list in England is because our NHS doctor friend contacted them for me, and mentioned my husband is English. I may never get to the top of the list, but I'm somewhere in the pile of hopefuls.
