There's an interesting <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/oct/03/collision-course-pedestrian-deaths-rising-driverless-cars">'Long Read' in yesterday's <cite<Guardian</cite></a> about why pedestrian deaths are rising. The pull quotes and preamble seem to have been chosen to suggest to the reader that it's about driverless cars, but the article as a whole doesn't think that's the problem! Interesting data, all the same...
