The eyes don't have it anymore

I went to a new eye doctor on Monday, who actually expained everything to me, which makes him much better than my last doctor. It turns out that I do need reading glasses, but I can just use my computer glasses, since the prescriptions would be so similar. And, my computer glasses are still fine, so I don't need to get new ones, just use them more.

I'm pleased by this, not because I need to use reading glasses, but because I was fearing new glasses for both distance and close, or even bifocals. This is much better.

And no, I'm not getting old. :-)

Hm, I think you are about the age I was when I started picking up reading glasses at the drug store so I could thread a needle! Now I need glasses to find the needle!

Bifocals aren't a sign of age. Indeed not! (Said the worn-bifocals-for-decades chick.) ;-)
