maestrateresa's funeral -- Saturday, Oct. 6, 2:00 p.m., St. Mar

maestrateresa's funeral will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.

This is meant to be a memorial for *all* of Teresa's friends and family. Please come. Please bring your children. (There is an area at the back of the church with toys if your children get restless.) I want the church to be full.

This will be a standard Episcopalian Rite II service. The West Kingdom choir will sing. I'll be giving a eulogy, and right afterwards will be a time for people who would like to to come up and share memories of Teresa. (If you do this, please write out what you'll say in advance, and try to limit it to about two minutes, since I expect lots of people will want to talk.) This is a very inclusive church, so please don't feel uncomfortable about coming if you aren't Episcopalian.

Afterwards there will be food in the parish hall, and a chance to talk some more about Teresa and celebrate her life. If you have any mementos of her that you would like to bring and share, please do so.

Take the Bascom exit going South.
Make the first Right, onto Hedding St., heading West.
Hedding St. turns into Pruneridge Avenue after the second light. The church is on the right shortly after.

I'm arranging flowers for the funeral. If you'd like to contribute,there are a couple of things that you could do:

1) buy flowers, have them delivered to my house Friday and I will make sure they get to the services on Saturday

2) send me money and I will use that to help pay for what I'm providing/expand what I'm bringing.
