You should see Veronica Mars (at least the first season). And get out more. :-)

As of this weekend I can bold Firefly. I have finally joined the 21st century geeks. We rewatched Serenity too last night, and I enjoyed it more this time around now that I understand the backstory.

Criminal that it got cancelled. I still wonder who Shepherd Book was before he became a shepherd.

I like Firefly as much, if not more, than I like Star Trek.

How can that be a list of greatest tv shows ever when there's no Dick van Dyke Show, Mary Tyler Moore Show, or Bob Newhart Show?

I thought this list was heavily skewed towards recent geek shows. No M*A*S*H, either.

Amen to that! Of that list I have only seen 18, and probably not one of them did I see every episode.

Having watched very little TV since I finished high school, my list is pretty sparse. I'll spare you the scrolling by skipping straight to the ones I have seen or have a comment about.

47. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine -- We watched it religiously for a couple of years, despite bad reception because we had no cable.

43. Star Trek
39. Monty Python's Flying Circus
37. Star Trek: The Next Generation
26. Red Dwarf -- But only because Teresa sent me a set of videotapes years ago!
21. Angel Exactly once, in a hotel. Hated it. Yet I love Firefly. Go figure.

18. Arrested Development -- On DVD, for hours at a time, for several days running, at Teresa's house, the week after she died, with [livejournal.com profile] fearless_em, [livejournal.com profile] catinthegrass, and [livejournal.com profile] psychicfrog. We didn't make it through the entire series.

14. Firefly -- I'm cheating here, because I'm only 3/4 of the way through, but in a few weeks I will have watched every episode. I think I'm in love.

13. Battlestar Galactica -- not even once, believe it or not, but the first DVD is coming up soon on my Netflix queue

09. The X-Files -- Just once or twice, despite my daughters' enthusiasm

08. The Wire -- Not yet, but [livejournal.com profile] fearless_em gave me strict orders to add it to my Netflix queue, so the first season will be right after the rest of Firefly and some Battlestar Galactica

01. The Simpsons -- Just a few episodes

It's not on the list, but I'm sure Teresa and I watched all of the Mission Impossible episodes together, during summers when we were in college and both still coming home for the summer.

I'm the only one who liked Voyager? That series showed the learning and creative processes behind the decision making done by the captain and crew.

No, I have never seen a single episode of Doctor Who.

I wouldn't know if I had seen every episode of something unless I saw an episode guide or owned the DVDs, so i don't know.

Did you get the clips I sent you a while back of the Twin Peaks episodes that had a high school acquaintance of ours in them?

Coke... trying to get his Flick ID to work as his OpenID

I've never even heard of "Only Fools and Horses."

I'm not interested in that particular high school acquaintance.
