Dymphna laid an egg today. Even though I thought she might be expecting, I hadn't put out the bowl of potting soil for her, and she laid the egg in the regular stuff in their habitat. I put the egg, whose shell had already hardened, in moist potting soil, so we'll see what happens, but it may be too late. Sigh. I suck.
