Yes, my turtles are strange

My turtles are persnickety eaters, and their diet consists mostly of lettuce, red peppers, and Roma tomatoes. I try them on all sorts of things, but they are worse than toddlers when it comes to food choice. A couple of months ago I got some free packages of Science Diet cat food in a pouch, and right before Christmas I tried it out on them. Dymphna loved it. She loved it so much that she has refused to eat anything since I ran out. (Turtles are cold-blooded, and it's been rather cool, so she can get away with that.) So today I bought some more cat food in a pouch (I couldn't find Science Diet brand, and my previous experience with wet food out of a can didn't work) and put some out. Dymphna is now happily scarfing it down.

Science Diet is, IIRC, only sold through pet stores and vets' offices. So it tends not to turn up at grocery stores, drug and discount stores and the like. It's a good brand (it's what I feed cats) but probably any decent cat food would have similar nutiritional value.

Cat food tends to be high in protein, but I assume the turtles are OK with that (never thought much about turtle diets, actually!);

I went to PetCo, but they didn't have the pouches. Turtles are pretty much omnivores, though mine vary about how much and what kind of protein they eat. Sometimes they like crickets, sometimes they ignore crickets and go for ham.
