You go girl. The Dakotas are beautiful, but kind of cold and wet this spring. Still snow from time to time, can you believe?

I've wanted to go to the Dakotas for some time, but I think I'd only go in the early summer.

Oh no. Harvest time is the best time! It's exciting and interesting and people have the greatest harvest-time food!

And Florida has DisneyWorld -- what gives? :-)

I was planning to go to DisneyWorld this month, in fact, but decided to postpone that trip because of the economy. Besides, I've been to Disneyland many times.

Actually, Magic Kingdom (the park within WDW that is the equiv of DL) is a different experience than DL. MK doesn't have (for me at least) the nostalgia factor that DL does -- even though I was spending the summer in FL the year that WDW opened (I spent the summer at my aunt & uncle's farm in the panhandle and Uncle Kurt wouldn't take me to WDW :-().

What I like about MK is the space -- it's laid out to avoid most of the crowded experience you get at DL. The rides are different (Pirates is a VERY different experience -- you spend more time in the fort dungeon on the way down). And having the additional hotels/attractions like having dinner at the Grand Floridian cafe (across the lagoon from MK) and being able to watch the fireworks from the patio means there's more to explore during your time there.

Its worth going to at least once to understand the differences.

I'm surprised that in 4 years in South Hadley you never ventured one hour north to Vermont or New Hampshire. Come visit us, and let's remedy that!
