I can haz storage shed
Apr. 24th, 2011 11:19 pmI have this lovely large clubhouse in the back yard, with a nice floor and painted walls and furniture in it, along with metal storage shelves and lots of boxes waiting to be unpacked. I also have garden tools, like a rake and a shovel, and leftover wooden stakes for holding up plants, that kind of thing. The problem is that the messy rake and shovel don't mix well with the inside of my clubhouse. Today, though, the older godson, who conveniently works at Orchard Supply Hardware and who also conveniently knows how to Put Things Together, came over, and after going out to Hobee's with me went with me to OSH. I got a small tool shed, about six feet tall, three feet wide, and two feet deep. Older godson let me use his employee discount, then put it together when we got it back to my house. It's now living on the porch of my clubhouse, with the garden tools safely inside.
The best party, though, was getting to see my godson. He's such a fun guy to hang around with. It helps that he's grown up to be a properly geeky young man, so he's a blast to talk, to, too.
