The A-Team

I used to watch The A-Team whenever nothing better was on TV, because Dirk Benedict was cute and I liked Howling Mad Murdock. Tonight I went to see the movie, and I had a really good time. The original characters were painted with broad strokes -- their names defined their characters. The movie was true to the original TV show, with the same broad characters, a cute guy playing Face, a funny Howling Mad Murdock, lots of action and explosions. However, the movie actually managed to give some depth to B.A. and a little bit to Face, while still keeping the fun of Hannibal's crazy plots (which also had an interesting turn). If you like action movies, this one is a lot of fun. Also, if you liked the original show, stay through the credits. There are a couple of surprises at the end.

I do want to go see this - I watched the A-Team many years back. I remember going to the Franciscan Friary with my mom - who had meetings to go to, and watching it there. I had a total thing for Hannibal.

My husband liked that show, so of course I watched it too. Lots of humor there!

I loved the A-Team back in the day, but wasn't sure if the movie would spoil it.
