Doing a little something for the daruma

I have successfully created my first DVD using iDVD (note that there really is a difference between a DVD-R and a DVD+R), and burnt my first CD using music duly bought and paid for from iMusic. I also got really creative and made labels for the disks and jewel cases. I now feel ready to move on and make some more advanced DVDs, though I won't be ready to make a new full blown movie for a little while.
The DVD was a video I made for a friend's GATE class, and I'll be seeing the friend for the first time in almost a year tomorrow. He moved to New Zealand to get out of the California rat race, and from his emails sounds pretty happy. He has the video on VHS, but I thought a DVD would be fun for him.
