I went to TJ Maxx today to see if they did in fact carry duvets (they do not), and when I stepped into the store, right in front of me (literally) was a wing-backed reclining chair. I've long wanted one of these, and haven't been able to find one for sale (except for one extremely expensive one via mail order). This one? Was on sale, and matches the color of my living room curtains. And it's now mine (thanks to learnteach. And now I'm going to go sit...er, recline in it.

I felt somewhat the same way about the Little Black Dress I found and bought yesterday. But it doesn't match my curtains. They're gold.

And the LBD is actually a dark navy, which flatters my skin better, so I feel fabulous in it. But probably not as comfy as Karen will in her new chair!

I know exactly the one you're talking about! I was there yesterday as well and contemplated (briefly) where I would put it in my own house if I were to take it home. I applaud your obviously excellent taste in furniture. ;-)

I was there for the rug sale, but couldn't quite bring myself to buy any of the ones they had on offer.
