Inspired last weekend by the warm sunny days, and realizing that I get a lot more done around the house in daylight, I decided to take today off and have a four-day weekend (Monday is President's Day). So of course it's dark and pouring down rain. Despite this, I have managed the kind of errands that I hate to do, like taking a stack of books to the Friends of the Library, and changing all the burnt out lightbulbs in the house (and going to Orchard Supply to get new ones), that kind of thing. Now I'm going to move on to unpacking more boxes, and tomorrow acanthusleaf is going to come over and help me put together the new bookcase/cabinets for the clubhouse. Because Chaz will be here in ten days (yay!) and I want the house to be ready.
