Apparently, if you are a turtle (named G'Kwan) it is necessary to pee all over the floor before fighting yourself in the reflection on the garbage can.

(I think he didn't pee so much as release his reserve bladder, which turtles do as part of their fight/flight response to make them lighter.)

O dearie dearie me....

But what on earth is the point of a reserve bladder? Why retain pee? It's not like having a spare fuel tank, it's not useful...

It's a means of storing water, like a spare fuel tank. Or so it's been explained to me. Maybe it's helpful for hibernation?

Okay, I guess that'd make sense. Like a camel's hump, sorta thing. (And here's me thinking other people are weird...)

That's also why the turtles climb into the water bowl. They drink through their mouths first, then climb in to fill the spare bladder (and empty other orifices). Yes, they drink through their butts.

So that's what the splotches were on the Book of G'Kwan...I had thought they were Garibaldi's coffee stains.

Whatever the origin, it's still pee all over your floor. :-)

I'm trying so hard not to laugh. Really.

Wait - turtles have a flight response? Just how helpful is that?

Remember, you don't have to outrun the monster, you just need to outrun the other turtles.
