In Pocatello

klwilliamsWe're in Pocatello, after a beautiful drive from Salt Lake City. My mom is doing great, and (not that I'm surprised) seems to love Chaz. We've played two games of Scrabble, with Mom winning one and Chaz winning one. (The heartbreaker for er was at the end, where I thought I had a word using all seven letters that spanned two triple word squares...but I was wrong.) The lovely, warm, clear day was replaced by high winds, thunder, and lightning, which meant dinner at the Himalayan restaurant became frozen pizza (Chaz was brave. He's eaten worse things. But I felt terrible.), and right now lightning is flashing and thunder rumbling outside. I hope I'll go to sleep soon.
