My new job

I started my new job today. My boss is out of town all week on a business trip, but I had come in last Thursday to talk to him, so I knew where my cube was, had a login ID for my computer, and worked out with him what I should do this week. Today I got my new laptop and docking station set up, had an SE give me an overview presentation of the main product, signed lots of paperwork, and started figuring out the support database. It was a lot of fun. The people there are nice, and very helpful when I needed it. I'm in a cube, but I'm right next to walls that are mostly windows, so there is a lot more light in the room than I've had for the last year. I'm actually looking forward to going in tomorrow. Whoopee!
