Well, today I got to see my older goddaughter, badassslinky, when I took her a (signed, of course) copy of DESDAEMONA and returned the first season of Buffy (in exchange for the second season). It was great to see her; I don't see her often enough. On Monday I'll get to see Ann and the younger two godchildren, whom I haven't seen since last August. That will be a treat. I wish I could walk better.

Today I also got some resume coaching, and applied for a job. This weekend I'm going to do a lot more focused job hunting, so I'm at the top of the hiring managers' queues come Monday.

Tonight, Chaz and I are watching "Kung Fu" on video (one of my favorites as a kid, and what drew me to martial arts). He has finished packing, and is now cooking risotto for dinner. Tomorrow, he leaves for England.

Sigh.

Oh no, and you just got used to his being around! When will he return? I'll bring my copy over for an autograph too, one of these days. LOL

I do't get to see her enough, and I'm glad that Badasslinky and I will be driving up to Tahoe this week to see her auntie for a bit. (Fencing Tournament).
