I suppose if I can't have Chaz here at the moment, the very next best thing is having the two younger godchildren and their mother visiting for the day. Yay! This involved hanging out at my place (with my godson playing Angry Birds -- a new version had just come out), then eating pizza, then going to a movie, then hanging out, then going to Chevy's (because one must).

My goddaughter has really grown up since I saw her last, almost a year ago. She's dyed her hair red, which looks great on her, and is taller than her aunt Joss. She's just as beautiful as always, too. Her brother hasn't changed much, except to be even quieter, but he's still my favorite boy. No new haircut or color, still a video game aficionado, still the right kind of geek. It was really great to see them and their mom, who remains the same sensible, beautiful woman as always.

In other news, I have a second interview on Friday, and a doctor's appointment tomorrow.

It isn't difficult to be taller than Joss. I made a gate of hell for her out of scraps and had scraps left over from the scrap.

I miss Ann and Brian. I hope TX is working out for them.
