New(ish) project

When I was a little kid, my father took lots of home movies, and about twenty years ago, Mom got these transferred onto video tape. Tonight, I transferred them onto my computer into iMovie, with the intention of adding titles, and some sort of sound track (it would be great if I could get commentary from Mom, Dad, and Bruce), and turning them into a DVD. They're a little bit darker and a little bit fuzzier than the originals, so I think I'll show a clip to Mom and see if she'd like me to have the originals re-converted, directly to digital this time. And I'll have this year's Christmas presents early. :-)

I have some very old family movies I'd like to have converted to digital. Given how fragile they must be, I'd need a very good place to do that, so if you find one, please let me know!

If I find a good place, I'll let you know. I have a 16mm print of "The Wizard of Speed and Time" short that I'd like to get transferred, too.
