I am mighty
Oct. 17th, 2011 08:45 pmToday I walked from work to the train station. Yeah, so? you're asking. Well, it's a mile and a half, which is twice the distance from the train station in Sunnyvale to my house, and I did it in about 35 minutes. I walked briskly the whole way, and my legs didn't feel shaky or painful at all. When I got to the train station they were a little tired, but by the time the train made it to Sunnyvale they were all rested and felt great once I'd walked home. Yay! I don't think I'll do this every day, but it's nice to know that on a pretty day I can do something I enjoy like walk. (Standing is still The Enemy, though.)

Date: 2011-10-18 06:12 pm (UTC)Yeah. Standing. That's always the enemy. I just cannot do that. But I can walk about 6 miles, which at this time seems to be the edge of what can manage these days.
Love, C.
