Thank heaven for baby brothers

My stepmother is from Thailand, and wants to take my baby brother back home to meet the Thai relatives. The flight to Bangkok lasts twenty-four hours, and understandably she doesn't want to be on a plane with a baby by herself for this long. Dad can't get time off for a vacation, and doesn't want to fly out with her only to immediately get back on a plane for twenty-four hours, so he's offered to buy me a plane ticket to Bangkok to go with her. This is so exciting. While my stepmother and brother spend time with her relatives, she'll tell me all the cool places to visit and write the names in Thai so I can tell the taxi drivers where to go. I've hoped that with a Thai stepmother I'd get a chance to visit Bangkok, and now it looks like I will (though not until after Christmas). Also, in other baby brother news, he's getting baptised on Sunday. I hope Dad takes lots of pictures.
