I just finished reading the Steve Jobs biography on my iPad. When I synced the iPad, I unchecked the book so it would be removed. After the sync, the checkmark was back next to the book. I unchecked the book on the master list of books in iTunes, so it shouldn't even be offered for copying to the iPad. Nope, still getting rechecked (and un-removed). I think Steve is haunting my iPad. Or someone with a sense of humor put in an Easter egg.

Or how dare you delete the sacred text of the Master? :-)

That's bizarre :)

I have a sudden urge to filk this to "Carmen Miranda's ghost is haunting Space Station Three." Not that it would actually scan...

I've been chronically annoyed that the iPad does not come with a file manager, which would enable you to see which files are on the thing and where they are. And, like, move or delete them. Sigh.

You also can't manually update your birthday calendar. It grabs birthdays that you list in your Contacts, then keeps them there with no manual control even after you delete the contact. I forever have an ex-boyfriend's birthday in my Calendar.
