Oh, the guilt

I just went and gave both boys about fifteen minutes of scritches and petting, then got up to go back into the main part of the house. Both boys followed close on my heels, and Barry (*Barry*) was the one most insistent about coming with me. Sigh. It's my own fault for not finishing my preparations for them, though this cold hasn't helped. They can hang out in the main part of the house with me tomorrow. Now it's bedtime.

Oh, the way they can hang the guilts on you! I think they're all actually reincarnated mothers of one kind or another! You petted them for ONLY FIFTEEN MINUTES???? Don't you know you're obligated to pet them until THEY are done wanting to be petted??? What's wrong with you, slave???
