Barry has just jumped up next to me on the couch for scritches, then poked his head behind the curtains for a peek at the front yard. Mac has been out of sight and quiet for a while. Evil is happening, I'm sure. Wait, he's now reappeared to jump onto the top of the bookcase by the window, to peek behind the curtains for himself.

My cold is somewhat better, though I now have an impressive cough.
