Settling in just fine

I've given them the run of the house this afternoon. I've discovered: Mac didn't know what a shower is. Mac climbed into my bottom drawer and squeezed himself all the way to the back, for what reason I do not know. Barry is very good at getting out of the way of the camera when I want to take a picture. Barry is also the only one I've caught trying to sharpen his claws on my couch.

A light wash of white vinegar anywhere they try their scratching on furniture is a must at the start. They have glands between their pads which leave a "scratch here" scent. It's also part of territory marking. Of course it cant' be done with organic died-fabric and some others, but should be cleaned somehow.

You probably know all that, but just in case.
