Turtles do not chew on leaves from a lemon tree, then throw up. Twice.

I suspect that's only because they are too short to reach the leaves.

As far as kitties who chew plants, Collette and Alessandro found out the hard way that lilies are very bad for a cat's kidneys.

Cat's up-chuck hairballs in the spring. It's a cat thing. Although I would go easy on the lillies at home.

The feline population of this house point out that a) testing leaves is a sign they care -- you might have eaten them and suffered; b) turtles don't sit on your knee or purr or have teh silky furs; and c) turtles are just mobile rocks which is not as good as being Spawn of teh Evil.
