The thing that went bump in the night

I've discovered that Mac knocks things over when he's mad. Why was he mad? Because I shut all the boys (all three species) out of my study so Dymphna could have some quiet time and eat her dinner. Which she did, since it was lovely, as Chaz had prepared a salad for her. She ate, and soaked in her water dish, then ate some more. Now she's sitting next to the power converter (a warm spot), and seems very content. Barry is sleeping snuggled next to Chaz, and Mac is sleeping in Chaz's study. I have no idea where G'Kwan is, but I'm sure he's fine. I, for some reason, am wide awake. Too bad I can't eat my leftover birthday cake.

Yes, that was Dymphna's cake. She hasn't been eating much, and has been pretty stressed out by G'Kwan first, then by having the boys here. The boys don't bother the turtles, but they're still a stress point. Chaz has been making salads for Dymphna this week, and when I drag her out and put her in front of them, with the door to the room closed, she actually eats.

One of my cats has started to open the cabinet door in the kitchen and knock over the garbage can. I am so not amused. Now I have to stick something in front of the door so she can't open it.
