1. I saw a very inspiring video on the Keeping Off 200 Pounds website. I'm hovering between doing nothing because it's hard and it hurts, and wanting to jump into something like yoga (but am facing problems there). This has inspired me. At the very least, I'm going to get up and move around every thirty minutes. That should help the muscle stiffness and spasms. (I hope.)

2. [livejournal.com profile] desperance has been out in the lovely sun gardening today. We have a new trowel and a new sprayer on the hose, plus lots of new plants. Everything looks so alive out there. (This is one of the places I move around in every thirty minutes.)

3. The boys managed to wear their collars through part of the night. Baz's was on the top of my dresser this morning and Mac's was on the floor at the bottom of the dresser. Now both collars adorn the boys again, and we'll see how long that lasts. Since they've both been power-napping all day, that should last until evening.

I wonder if they just decided, "I've given this a try-out. Done now."

Love, C.

I am glad that was inspiring. Moving when it hurts can be very very tough - yet sometimes the movement can help the body. Pain is a tough thing to navigate - I'll let you know when I learn how.

Have you thought about trying a fibbit? (fitbit.com). It tracks all your walking (bonus for going up a stairs), and if you track your food as well -- will help you create a food plan that balances your intake with your exercise level.
