Favorite parent status

We have two cats, Barry and Mac. Chaz maintains that Mac is evil, but I think Mac is just more straightforward and energetic, though I agree that Barry is very sweet. Usually Barry likes to sit on Chaz's lap, when he sits on anyone's, just as he tonight. Mac, on the other hand, twice tonight walked across Chaz on the couch in order to curl up in my lap. Tonight, though, Barry came to bed, and jumped up on Chaz's side, where he usually spends the night. Except tonight. When he walked over to my side, and stretched out along the bottom half of my side of the bed.

I think Chaz is handling this very well. (I have left the two of them to their slumbers so that I can grab a tissue, as I am, after all, allergic to both Mac and Barry. But not Chaz.)

There's a shot for cat allergies. Ask you MD if you can take them. They are generally covered by insurance. I could not have survived my cats, without those shots!
