That none of us recognized, not even the guests from Seattle. It was coming from outside, so Chaz looked. It was rain. The first he'd seen since June. (The boys were upset.)

Yes, California cats are always surprised and disgusted that there is all that wet stuff OUTDOORS. Water belongs in cat dishes, bathtubs, and sinks, as everyone knows.

It poured here too. But it's unlikely from the same natural forces ....

Finally though, this afternoon we've got sunshine. It's seems it's been overcast and chilly and threatening rain or raining since we came home from London to land in a rainstorm.
