Last night, I just couldn't sleep. I was very tired when I went to bed, but no sleep. My beloved and the two furry bed partners were snoozing, but even after I took the really strong sleepy pill I had the hardest time sleeping and staying asleep. (My husband is a saint.) And when I'd get up to stretch or visit the bathroom, I heard the oddest noise. Yup, rain. Serious rain. Raining on me rain, at least waiting for the train in Sunnyvale. It's clear now in San Francisco, but I expect more rain today. Fits my mood.

The change in air pressure may well have been the source of your sleeplessness.

On the other hand, I, an old Seattlite, slept all through the night without a single rising, which has not been all that common for me down here. LOL
