Summers are cool

At least, summers are cool in my study, which now has an air conditioning unit thanks to jeanvieve. It's changed the dynamics some in the house, too. My study belongs to Mac, since I belong to Mac, and Mac's Place is on top of my desk. The first time I turned on the AC Mac came running in, and well, got comfy.



Barry also wears a fur coat, though, and he also likes the cool afternoon air. So today he did the unthinkable, and sat in Mac's Place. Mac very reasonably came up to claim his spot, but I wouldn't let them fight on my desk. In front of my computer. Six inches from my face. So they behaved.

Yay, cool air that helps you think! I used to have it in my home office too. Get too warm, and I want to nap all day. Like Mac. Or Barry!

I keep waiting for the opportunity to indent for an AC unit myself, but it looks as though it won't happen this year. We had a summer day last week, but I missed out then so I'll have to wait for next year. You think I'm joking? We've *snow* this June.
